Terms of Service

The short version

Anon lets you receive anonymous messages through your public link and chat privately with other registered people. Be decent. Don't use it to harass, threaten or harm anyone.

Who can use Anon

You must be at least 16 years old. By creating an account you confirm this. We operate under Zimbabwe's Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07].

What "anonymous" means — read this

Anonymous means the recipient can't see who you are. It does not mean untraceable. We store a hashed identifier of your browser and network with every anonymous message. Abusive senders can be blocked by recipients, banned platform-wide, and — where required by law — traced and reported to authorities.

Not allowed

Harassment, bullying or threats · hate speech · sexual content involving minors (reported to authorities) · impersonation · spam or scams · attempts to unmask other users · anything illegal in Zimbabwe. Breaking these rules gets messages removed, accounts suspended and identifiers banned.

Your account

Your username is permanent — links must never break. Keep your password and recovery code safe; without an email on file, the recovery code is the only way back into your account. You are responsible for what happens on your account.

Our side

Anon is provided as-is, without warranties. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and we may update these terms — continued use means acceptance. Personal accounts are free.
